Having received a payment from Zopa, I may as well add that....Not a lot, but £10.53.......
New total, £187.53 + £10.53= £198.06.
I have some new ideas being trialled, so stay tuned...

New Phone....
My mobile decided to play up, so bought a new one through my business. The old one however is worth £3 on Mazuma :-).
It's in the post today and another three pounds into the pot, as well as the penny i found in the street.
Updated total £187.53.

Ebay adds to the pot.
A clearout of some old bits and bobs on Ebay adds to the total today. After postage costs and fees, a crinkly £20 note adds to the total.
£164.52 + £20= £184.52
The Amazon books have been a little slow in selling, so maybe another Ebay selling spree is in order. GDI has been consistently making money, but i won't reach the payment threshold until December. It would be nice to have the cheque to add in January. Take a look here: http://www.darrenturner.ws
That's all for now, happy doubling till next time.

Windfall
Ok, ok, the title maybe a bit dramatic, but I found £23.64 in a dormant spreadbetting account.
Adding that means £23.64 + £140.88=£164.52.
That's step 5 completed, woo hoo!
Next stage, step 6 and I need to build the account up to £320.
Just 13 steps to go :-)

Ticking Along
Went for a few pints last night, and low and behold, the vending machine had made a few sales, great news....
Furthermore I found 8p in loose change and sold another book on Amazon for £2.25.
Thats £2.33 to add to £138.55= £140.88
I'll listing some more books today which will hopefully fill the coffers a little more.
Keep posted.

Changes
I thought after a hectic 3 weeks of builders, decorators and mess that the doubling method blog needs a makeover too...lol
Anyway, you'll start to see a few changes and upgrades over the coming weeks. In fact, I'm going to launch and monetize some other blogs for profit (hopefully).
You'll notice the new Amazon ad for the Automatic Millionaire book. YOU NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK!
It changed my life, and made me realise how foolish I was being with my money. Those few pounds that we squander on coffees, crisps, meals out really add up over time to lifechanging amounts of money.
Please, if it's the last thing you do, get a copy. You will thank me for it :-)
Click the link at the top right hand side of the page today.

Vending Machine Delivered
Since the last post, I took delivery of the vending machine and paid my £10.50 eagerly... Reason being that similar machines are being sold on a well known auction site for £99.
Today I stocked the machine, and placed it in my local pub. Fingers crossed that it'll provide a steady income stream for the doubling method :-).
The GDI business seems to keep growing too (www.darrenturner.ws) I'll soon be at the $100 cheque payment threshold which will be added to the account. I recommend taking a serious look at GDI, my income has grown each month since I joined and was profitable within 2 weeks.
Other than that, after a clearout, I've found more books for Amazon......I'll just price them to sell, I'm fed up of tripping over them....lol
Xmas is just around the corner, I'm sure there'll be some opportunities to exploit.....I just hope so....

An Interesting Twist
After a lot of thought, I bought off Ebay, a vending machine....
I have arranged to place this in my local pub, in return for a percentage of takings being given to the ladies darts team .... Result!
The machine holds mini cans of sweets and nuts, and the machine holds 63 cans, which vend at £1. Therefore, looking at figures, we should clear around £25 profit from each machine fill :-).
A truly passive income, and the machine cost me the dizzy sum of £10.50. Should hopefully have it collected and installed over the coming week or so.
It's bizarre that such opportunities just seem to be presenting themselves....Am fascinated to see what happens next...lol

TORTOISE AND HARE
Having closed some old bank accounts during the last 2 weeks, I have been able to add a further £38.98 to the pot today.
Not quite the strategy I expected, but it all helps.
£99.57 + £38.98 = £138.55
Just another £22 required to complete step 5......Maybe post some more books on Amazon later.
Any other ideas would be gratefully received ;-).

Trickling In
Two days into the month of November, and 2 books sold on Amazon. One for £3.79 and one for £2.23 making an extra £6.02. Leaving the pot now at £99.57. Slowly wins the race lol.
I am testing out a horse laying system, which I trust will add to the coffers, but It needs some papertrading first to ensure that It stays on track :-)
Maybe I could start selling my winning selections to my readers ;-)
Feel free to get in touch at growingteam@hotmail.com
I am always open to good ideas, trades, swaps etc.......... At the end of the day, this Million Pound Experiment has to work, so please get involved, and lets help each other......

Coppering Up Pays Off
Problems, problems......despite suing them twice in 2 years, Paypal again are witholding cash in my account. As a result, I'm reticent to use Ebay to sell anymore items.....
Anyway, overcoming adversity is a great challenge, and not using Paypal and Ebay will leave much more time to make money....lol
Coppering up the change jar produced another £15 today, so thats £78.55+£15=£93.55.
Great news, that's step 4 complete, and onward to step 5.
Just 14 steps left ;-)

Making Progress
Unfortunately the ebay items didn't sell (I'll be relisting shortly though). The good news is that I sold another book on Amazon, bringing in £13.81. This brings the new bank to £78.55.
If any readers are looking to sell any broken or unused gold, then i buy :-) I'm hoping to start trading gold with my £78.55.
I really need to knuckle down on this project, as I get motivated by results only, and so far things are happening too slowly (although, I'm £78.55 better off than when i started).
Watch out for further updates. If anyone has any ideas to help, please get in touch....I'll even credit you with a mention if I use your idea.

Slow Day
I found a few bits to put on Ebay, and woke this morning to find that Ebay had cancelled the listing due to a violation.
Anyway, I relisted the item, so fingers crossed....
Another idea that you may be interested in is a small business that you can grow with your doubling. Try it for free for 7 days here: www.darrenturner.ws
This enables me to earn a pretty good income for very little work, with a monthly cost of just £6.
I recommend trying out the trial, you'll also get free ads and ppc ads :-).
The doubling method is all about multiple streams of income.
Keep posted for tomorrow.

Coppering Up....
Here are a few things that I've done so far, in order to make a rapid start to accumulating cash.
1) I opened an Amazon seller account to sell my old books.
2) I counted up my trusty change jar......Keep one, you'll be surprised how coins accumulate.
3) I already have an Ebay account, to clear some clutter.
None of the above steps cost any money, and i recommend decluttering on a regular basis, as well as keeping the reigns on non-essential spending.
Here's where I'm at today:
Unexpected cheque received today for £36.95
Amazon payment received from selling books £21.79
Bagged change from change jar £6.
Total £64.74.
Not a bad start for a quick clearout.
I'm now at step 3 £40-£80.
Just 15 steps to go.......
I think i'll look for some stuff to sell on Ebay.

Hi,
Thanks for stopping by, and checking out my lifechanging experiment.
I aim to start with some loose change, and grow this over time into a million pounds....
Now i realise that, that seems a lofty goal but even if i fail, i'll be well ahead financially from where i am now. I'd like to share ideas with my readers with the aim of helping each other progress and achieve our goals.
I actually got the idea for the Doubling Method from Stuart Goldsmith. You can get a copy of his work by Googling him. The premise though is to start with some seed capital, and double it, by trading, selling, working, or whatever.

2 £20
3 £40
4 £80
5 £160
